Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons invite us to embrace instinct in their Fall/Winter 2025 menswear collection. At its core, the collection delves into human nature—raw, automatic, and unapologetically honest. It explores the tension between romance and instinct, where passion overrides reason and sophistication emerges from spontaneity.

Unexpected contrasts define the collection. Shearling, soft and sensual, is presented as a second skin—security turned inside out. Knitwear, adorned with enigmatic metal symbols, hints at amulets, a subtle nod to protection and connection. These elements create a sense of intimacy and emotional resonance, offering both comfort and edge.

The cinematic thread runs deep, with designs sparking visceral, almost universal memories. The collection doesn’t merely dress—it provokes, pulling instinct to the forefront of creativity.

The show itself became an extension of this narrative. AMO transformed the Fondazione Prada’s Deposito into a space of contradictions: raw industrial structures met tactile carpets designed by Catherine Martin. Shifting lighting and layered levels evoked the intimacy of a club and the drama of film, underscoring our innate need for closeness and connection.

With “Unbroken Instincts,” Prada channels the primal and the poetic, crafting a collection that feels as immediate as it does timeless.
