Levi’s® Vintage Clothing AW21

The always excellent Levi’s® Vintage Clothing has just unveiled its latest collection for autumn, capturing the spirit & heritage of American work wear, with reproductions of the fits, fabrics and details from the era. 

Named The Shocking Truth, teen angst is at the heart of the collection, with the styling inspired by imagery from those 50s and 60s teenage B-movie posters. With the source material as Levi’s® own archive and inspiration from the hardworking men and women that the brand has equipped for the last 140 years, the new collection aims to relive the treasured history, so think jeans, jackets, pants, and tops modelled after looks from the era as well as letter jackets and satin bombers, camp collar shirts and geometric print sweaters. And of course, denim. Plenty of denim. 

Standouts from the collection include the Climate Seal Jacket, a men’s red satin bomber jacket with sherpa collar—a reproduction of a 1950s version—and a pair of jeans, the 1920s Balloon, a super wide leg denim pant and a reproduction from a 1920s version.
