GIVĒON Returns: A New Chapter Begins with "Twenties"

After a two-year hiatus, GIVĒON is back. The seven-time GRAMMY®-nominated R&B star has returned with his latest single, "Twenties," produced by a powerhouse team including Sevn Thomas, Maneesh Bidaye, and Jahaan Sweet. Accompanied by a music video directed by Loris Russier, the track marks a new phase in the Long Beach native’s career.

GIVĒON’s voice has long been the soundtrack of longing and nostalgia, and "Twenties" is no exception. The video, backed by a live band, captures the essence of the song, with Russier—known for his work with SIR and Future/Metro Boomin—bringing the vision to life.

With 2025 on the horizon, GIVĒON shows no signs of slowing down. The year marks the five-year anniversary of Take Time, his debut project that set the foundation for an impressive career. It was followed by When It’s All Said and Done…Take Time and his 2022 full-length debut, Give or Take, securing his status as a dominant force in R&B.

His track record speaks for itself: “Heartbreak Anniversary” sits at 6x Platinum, while “Like I Want You” and “Favorite Mistake” have also secured multi-Platinum status. Hits like “Lost Me,” “Vanish,” “Last Time,” and “Lie Again” add to his growing list of Gold-certified singles.

Even in his time away, GIVĒON remained a presence. His recent collaborations with Teddy Swims on "Are You Even Real" and Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr on "Last Heartbreak Song" demonstrate his versatility and reach.

With "Twenties," GIVĒON steps back into the spotlight, poised to continue his ascent. The question now isn’t whether he’ll deliver—but how high he’ll go.
