Berluti AW25

Celebrating 130 Years of Craft and Style

Berluti marks its 130th anniversary with a collection that elegantly traces its roots while showcasing its evolution. This season, the Maison pays homage to its heritage by exploring its three core realms of expertise—shoes, jackets, and bags—each reflecting its storied craftsmanship.

A Legacy in Leather: The Démesure Shoe

At the heart of Berluti’s legacy lies its iconic footwear. It all began with Alessandro Berluti, who in 1895 crafted his first lace-up shoe—a design that redefined elegance. This year’s centerpiece is the Mont Thabor, a modern interpretation named after Berluti’s first Paris address. Featuring angular lines and a spectrum of nearly a thousand shades of black, this design pushes the boundaries of patina artistry.

Joining the Mont Thabor are updated versions of the Alessandro Parade and Alto, bridging tradition with innovation. The collection also sees the return of the Stellar sneaker, introduced in 2015 and reimagined now with a softer silhouette. Each piece stands as a testament to Berluti’s dedication to blending heritage with contemporary design.

The Forestière Jacket: A Revival of Elegance

Originally designed in 1947 by Arnys for Le Corbusier, the Forestière jacket was a functional yet sophisticated piece. Berluti breathes new life into this classic, offering both short and long iterations. With its blend of workwear influences and tailored elegance, the Forestière is versatile enough to transition seamlessly from day to night. It’s a hybrid design that resonates with modern sensibilities while staying true to its roots.

The Périple Bag: Form Meets Function

Berluti introduces the Périple bag, crafted from Venezia Softy leather. This supple yet durable design showcases thoughtful details inspired by shoemaking, such as leaf-shaped chapes and oxford-style construction. Practicality meets luxury here, with a design perfect for urban journeys, from bike commutes to weekend getaways.

As Berluti celebrates its 130th year, the Maison continues to extend its legacy with creations that honor its past while looking boldly to the future. For the modern gentleman, this collection is more than fashion—it’s history reimagined.
