AMI SS25

AMI's Spring-Summer 2025 fashion show took place in a vacant Haussmann-style building in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris. The choice of this empty former bank headquarters, with its vast, industrial-like spaces and ornate stucco decorations, provided a stark yet intriguing setting for the collection.

Alexandre Mattiussi presented the collection indoors, diverging from the usual outdoor venues. The single row of white-clothed chairs added a homely touch to the otherwise sparse space, creating an intimate viewing experience for the attendees.

The collection itself epitomized AMI’s signature blend of elegance, sophistication, and pragmatism. It showcased a striking contrast between tailored pieces and casual elements, enriched by light, quirky details and innovative proportions. The meticulous selection of materials, from cotton and lightweight woolens to colored denim and poplin, added depth and texture to the designs.

AMI introduced new, logo-free bag designs, including soft tote bags in sophisticated colors and the Le Carrousel bag, known for its wide shoulder straps. Footwear featured natural, supple shapes with flat babouche-style models and wedge heels in coordinating colors. The accessories line included nostalgic gold and silver jewelry, adding a vintage touch with bracelets, chains, and creoles.

The collection's color palette was inventive and delicate, featuring desaturated tones like lichen, curry, and aubergine, balanced to reflect the House's aesthetic. Patterns focused on checks and fine stripes, complementing the soft and graceful textures of the fabrics.

AMI's Spring-Summer 2025 collection stood out with its refined silhouettes and playful contrasts, embodying a Parisian aesthetic that is both soft and romantic.
