For spring 2020, YMC have sought to unravel threads from the UK’s long history of revolutionary music and ground breaking fashion, with the world of post punk fashion of the early Eighties being brought back to life. 

Balancing between punk and the new romantic movement, the collection includes purposefully mismatched tartans to invoke the anarchy of punk and floral embroidery on shirts to make you feel like an androgynous New Romantic. 

A sophisticated take on army surplus dominates, with fatigue trousers adorned with punk inspired zips, a Belgian camo and the trend also influences swimwear. Oversized military bomber jackets paired with madras check balloon pants create a subversive but relaxed silhouette.
