Universal Works and Flower Mountain Reunite for Spring/Summer 2025 Collaboration

British menswear label Universal Works has once again teamed up with Japanese footwear brand Flower Mountain for their second collaboration, drawing inspiration from the Dandelion Mountaineering Association—a fictional concept celebrating the blooming dandelions of Mount Fuji. This partnership merges British and Japanese design sensibilities, featuring in-house designed floral embroidery adorning Universal Works' staple silhouettes.

The collection showcases pieces like the Minari Shirt, Beach Short, Beach Hat, Cruiser Shirt, and E130 Jacket, all embellished with dandelion and buttercup motifs that appear to grow along hems and elbow patches. A collaborative printed tee in Single Jersey further highlights these floral designs and the Dandelion Mountaineering Association theme.

In footwear, the collaboration introduces exclusive colourways of Flower Mountain’s New Asuka Uni, Fami Uni, and Yamano 3 Uni. Universal Works has selected materials including leathers, suedes, and cottons, incorporating branding details that reflect both brands' aesthetics. Notable features include Flower Mountain’s signature top-stitching, a new coloured strip on the back, and a collaborative logo combining the Flower Mountain font with the Universal Works logo.

The collection aligns with Universal Works' Spring/Summer 2025 pieces, incorporating colours, fabrics, and shapes from both the current and past seasons. This collaboration embodies a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and design between the British and Japanese brands.

The Flower Mountain x Universal Works collection is available from April 2, 2025, at Universal Works stores, online at Flower Mountain, and selected international retailers.
