Turnbull & Asser SS20

For spring 2020, Turnbull & Asser draws on its strength in the creation of original textiles. For over 100 years, the brand has developed its own designs, largely hidden away in the archives of the bespoke store where designs of all manner of checks and stripes went on to become shirt cloths. 

The new collection draws on garments that tell stories of lives well lived - antique kimonos, fringed shawls that have been unwashed and discoloured over time. This inspiration is the starting point for classics with shirts that age over time such as the rustic linens and muted tones in chinos. 

Silk accessories add boldness with geometric flourishes, which works perfectly with soft tailoring - think textured jackets and fine wool weaves that are built to stand the test of time.
