Thom Sweeney x Crockett & Jones

Thom Sweeney has just launched a new smart to casual footwear collection, created in partnership with Northampton shoe making legends, Crockett & Jones. 

The new range comprises of 5 styles designed by Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney, with each design using the Crockett & Jones signature lasts, superior uppers and Goodyear Welt construction - so the best of the best in British shoemaking. 

Designed to complement every part of the modern mans wardrobe, and to take him from Monday to Sunday, there are three smart-casual styles which can be dressed up and down, and a pair of lace up boots and a pair of patent leather dress shoes. 

Key to each of these designs are the lightweight rubber soles used throughout, unusual in English shoemaking. “We wanted to take the weight out of an English shoe and to soften up a classic British look, much like we have in our tailoring”, explains Whiddett. “English shoes are beautifully made, but often quite heavy and uncomfortable. This collaboration mixes British style with a soft, lightweight construction – for luxurious shoes that are suited to the pace of modern life.”
