Thom Sweeney Townhouse

A new tailoring townhouse, situated on Old Burlington Street, in the heart of London’s Mayfair is your new must visit shopping destination.

The new space from Thom Sweeney brings together two existing West End stores under one roof, with a bespoke tailoring workshop, fitting rooms, made-to-measure lounge and ready-to-wear collection on show, plus a cocktail bar and barber’s shop.

The ground floor houses Thom Sweeney’s ready-to-wear collection; with tailoring, casual wear, shirts and knitwear and one from up is a consultation space for Bespoke and Made-To-Measure customers. At the top of the townhouse’s staircase, lined with artworks curated by neighbouring Mayfair galleries, the third floor will host a lounge area for customers to socialise and feel at ease. A second copper-clad cocktail bar and leather Chesterfield sofas will lend the space a sophisticated, masculine look and member’s-club feel.

Beneath the top three storeys, the townhouse’s lower ground floor will host Thom Sweeney’s bespoke workrooms; home to the company’s team of cutters and coatmakers. Four sizeable cutting boards will sit at the centre of the room, with sewing machines, steam irons and additional work- benches lining the space. The floor is designed to feel seamlessly connected; clients will able to watch their suits take shape in the workshop, and tailors will be able to jump between their workstations and fitting rooms with ease. On top of all of that, a vaulted chamber has been converted into Pankhurst London’s new state-of-the-art barbershop, with two trademark custom-made Bentley barber’s chairs for customers to relax in.
