Thom Sweeney summer/ fall 2019 collection

Superb British tailoring brand Thom Sweeney has just unveiled its new collection for spring - fall 2019 and it is perhaps its most rakish yet. 

Founded in 2006 by duo Thom Whiddett & Luke Sweeney, the brand has become renowned for use of superb fabrics, incredible attention to detail and an intelligent and nuanced approach to design. Thom Sweeney suits look and feel different to the suits of their competitors. 

The cut is relaxed and effortless yet highly polished (just look at those pleated trousers with discreet buckled waists as an example). The soft, Italianate shoulder feels natural, comfortable and relevant; at the same time, the chest is canvassed for structure and the waist nipped in flatteringly, as is the British custom. In short, the best of both the upright English gent and the elegant Italian man about town.
