The new collaboration between Sunspel and MR PORTER is rooted in Sunspel’s heritage. Way back in 1860, the brand began by manufacturing luxury underwear in Nottingham. Since that time, they have been at the forefront of developing ground-breaking fabrics that elevate the everyday garments into luxury pieces that can be worn again and again. The archive was the starting point for the new collaboration.

The exclusive capsule features four products - the tank and camp collar shirt are made with a warp knit mesh that was originally developed in the 1950s for the Riviera Polo Shirt. Made from fully traceable, responsibly farmed, extra-long staple Supima cotton, they are smooth, breathable and perfect for warm weather. The capsule also includes two pieces made with a unique chunky mesh knit. Crafted from the highest-quality long-staple Egyptian cotton, the knit has a vintage finish and heavier feel. It comes in a buttonless polo shirt and a long sleeve zip jacket, both of which are ideal summer layering pieces.
