Rowing Blazers x Luke Edward Hall
Rakish New York clothing brand Rowing Blazers has partnered with British artist Luke Edward Hall. The second collaboration for them, this time around celebrates the ancient world.
The new range brings together a mutual love of the classical world for the artist and Rowing Blazers founder Jack Carlson, who studied as a classical archaeologist. The capsule forms part of the AW22 range from Rowing Blazers with motifs and prints by Luke Edward Hall that reference the classical world through his quirky, colourful lens of irreverent romanticism (a Greek vase, Tutankhamun’s golden mask, ruined columns and the like).
The collection incorporates many of the staple wardrobe pieces for which Rowing Blazers is known and loved: heavyweight rugby shirts, corduroy and twill caps, French terry loopback crewnecks and tees, woven neckties, critter trousers, goldwork bullion patches, and a special woven shirt featuring an all-over print of Luke Edward Hall’s Roman Forum illustration.
