Montblanc Unveils Second Chapter of ‘100 Years of Meisterstück’ Campaign
Montblanc continues its centennial celebration of the Meisterstück fountain pen with the launch of the second chapter of its "100 Years of Meisterstück" campaign. This latest installment features new campaign visuals shot by photographer Charlie Gray, spotlighting notable figures such as actors Rupert Friend, Lee Jinuk, and Jing Boran.
Following the success of the campaign’s first chapter, which debuted in May with a Wes Anderson-directed short film, Montblanc has deepened its exploration of the Meisterstück’s legacy. The new visuals are set against the backdrop of the Mont Blanc mountain, a motif that Anderson originally brought to life in his film, and extend the campaign's whimsical narrative.
The visuals not only pay homage to the Meisterstück pen but also introduce Montblanc’s latest leather collection, the Extreme 3.0, now available in a new lavender grey color. The collection's standout pieces include the Extreme 3.0 Backpack, the Montblanc 142 Bag Mini, and the Sling Bag, all featuring the M LOCK 4810 buckle, a design inspired by secure mountaineering closures. These products are showcased by the campaign’s stars, with Rupert Friend and Jing Boran carrying the Montblanc 142 Bag Mini, while Lee Jinuk sports the Sling Bag cross-body.
Montblanc's campaign blends the brand’s rich heritage with contemporary design, spotlighting the Meisterstück fountain pen, renowned for its black cigar-shaped design, three gold rings, and handcrafted gold nib. This writing instrument, first introduced in 1924, remains a symbol of refined craftsmanship, admired by many influential figures over the past century.
The "100 Years of Meisterstück" Chapter II campaign officially launched worldwide on September 2, 2024, continuing Montblanc's year-long homage to one of its most iconic creations. For more details, visit Montblanc's official website.
