Lyle & Scott provides free kits for grassroots football clubs

British heritage brand Lyle & Scott have launched their trailblazing grassroots football initiative: Kits For Clubs. The initiative sees the brand support grassroots, amateur football clubs by providing them with free kits via an application process on the brand's website.

Paying tribute to their historical connection to football, Lyle & Scott will be supplying free, bespoke football kits to amateur teams and small clubs. Beginning with a seven-figure investment from the brand in the first year, the campaign will grow to offer new kits to tens of thousands of dedicated grassroots football players all over the world. Any club, whether 5, 7 or 11-a-side, freestylers, pub teams or mid-week footballers, is invited to apply for complimentary football kits and remove a significant expense for the season ahead. The kits will all be hand-finished in Scotland, in the brand’s hometown of Hawick, with customisation for individual player numbers and club crests. For any newly formed teams, if they do not have a club crest, Lyle & Scott will go the extra mile and collaborate with the club to design that as well, to help develop their own proud identity.
