How to master summer tailoring

As temperatures continue to soar, there is often nothing as annoying as having to don a suit when it’s so warm. Despite what you may think, it is entirely possible to look and stay cool at the same time.

Of course, the suit is the starting point. This stunning tan-brown crepe jacket from Connolly at Matches Fashion exemplifies superb summer tailoring with its lightly padded shoulders, peak lapels and slimming double breasted shape. Wear with the matching slim fit crepe trousers and make it even more summer appropriate with the exchange of a shirt for a polo. We recommend the cotton riviera polo shirt in archive white from Sunspel which boasts serious Casino Royale vibes.

The finishing touches to any summer suiting look is the accessories. Here we styled the look of the week with Berluti x Oliver Peoples sunglasses at Mr Porter and smart & elegant penny loafers at Duke & Dexter in a light and shade.

To bring the vision to life of how to look good in the heat, we worked with STIP, a Brazilian artist, designer & illustrator. His work is influenced by street art and boasts a bold and graphic style that works across murals and canvas. The talented artist has worked with brands such as NBA, Audi, Spotfiy and Sony.
