All glammed up with nowhere to go

Anyone that has had the experience of having a birthday in April 2020 will no doubt, remember it forever, as the birthday without a party and indeed, maybe without any celebration at all. You may have nowhere to go, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get all glammed up.
Dressing up can be a great way of forgetting that you are locked in, and this weeks look celebrates that. Take for example, the wonderful jacket from Saint Laurent at Mr Porter. Inspired by Mick Jagger in the Sixties, the short, tailored, fire engine red jacket will make you want to rock around the living room. Such a statement jacket requires little else so keep the trousers black (although we chose to make them elevated via excessive pleats via Homme Plissé Issey Miyake) and a white shirt from Burberry, which has hand appliquéd crystals on the collars and cuffs, because its your birthday after all. Footwear is similar simple - although these Loewe ballet runners at Matches are far too nice for your one outdoor walk a day.
