One of the prevailing trends at London Fashion Week Men’s was the growing up of designers. Liam Hodges was another designer that produced his most mature collection to date, whilst at the same time maintaining a sense of youthfulness.

Infused with a sense of fun, Hodges looked back to the Nineties and a host of influences from the era - Baz Luhrman and Mr Blobby just two of those. The collection was colourful and vibrant, designed to be worn for hedonistic nights out on the town.

Punk tones appeared on other catwalks and also showed up at Liam Hodges. Mr Blobby pink and yellow was a theme on knit jumpers which also featured cartoon graphics and polka dots. The punkier pieces were the red & blue tartan, distressed & bleached denim double breasted suits covered in badges. The iconic not smiling face featured creepily on clothes and on faces and slime green hairdos further added to the sense of fun and freedom.
