Leica Camera has introduced the D-Lux 8, a compact camera now available globally in stores and online. This new model promises enhanced user comfort with updated controls, an intuitive user interface, and an optimized button layout.

The D-Lux 8 offers both manual and automatic modes for photography and videography, catering to both quick snapshots and carefully composed shots. It features a 4/3” CMOS sensor with 21 MP (17 MP effective), paired with a fast Leica DC Vario-Summilux 10.9-34 f/1.7-2.8 ASPH. zoom lens, equivalent to 24-75mm in 35mm terms. An attachable flash is also included.

Photographers can benefit from the high-resolution touchscreen and a new 2.4-megapixel OLED viewfinder with Live View, enabling precise framing. The D-Lux 8 supports DNG and JPEG formats, optical zoom, and 4k video recording.

The Leica D-Lux 8 is priced at £1,450.00 and is available through Leica stores, online, and authorized dealers from July 2nd.
