Le Flow Paris AW18
One of France’s biggest footwear brands has just unveiled its AW18 look book, full of images of statement sneakers that inspire moon walking confidence.
Lionel Le Floch, the man behind the brand, has previously collaborated with Berluti Bottier and Givenchy, creating an impression as a man with a talent for the craft of working with leather to create beautiful shoes. The label prides itself with its use of traditional manufacturing. Its high quality leathers are carefully selected in French and Italian tanneries, with paint injected in the rubber arranges itself randomly, bringing poetry to its ultra light technical sole consequently making each shoe one of a kind.
The AW18 Marsien collection was developed with the goal to create shoes that allow the wearer to exhibit their unconventionality and uniqueness. Inspired by the landscape pictures of astronaut Thomas Pesquet, the colors are cold and the materials are granular, cratered with an organic feel like elastic lamb leathers in clay and limestone.
The collection brings a new sneaker inspired by vintage astronaut shoes. It combines disruptive and unexpected materials such as its paint injected soles. The sole remains at its lightest so you can feel like a genuine Moon Walker. Unexpected materials like brushed patent or tainted kappa that echo with the paint injected soles.
