The thought provoking new collection from Jil Sander approached ideas of comfort and protection, emphasising the most necessary elements of menswear and what is most important to be developed in the future. 

The progressive collection has a strong, futuristic feel with a modern silhouette, slightly twisted with shrunken proportions. Layering creates asymmetrical forms giving depth and a thermal functioning to essential pieces. Generous outerwear shapes are refined and controlled. The statement down cars have a wonderful, duvet like quality about them inspired by sleeping bags, whilst padded shirts add lightness to the volume. 

The collection, while forward-looking in inspiration, is created for the present. The lining construction on tailored pieces supports whilst also allowing for freedom of movement with the horizontal cuts, emphasised by contrast stitching. 

The colour palette features soft, warm whites and natural cotton hues set against astral tones of green, grey, and beige. The traditional black and dark navy that are associated with the brand are also present.
