The Jaeger-LeCoultre Duometre is a watch that ticks every possible box. It boasts impressive design, technical expertise and old world classic looks.
The remarkable watch is made from German Silver which does not actually contain any silver and has the tendency to develop into a golden hue over time. The use of German Silver in the watches from Jaeger-LeCoultre make them highly distinctive. Also incredibly unique is the Dual Wing concept - the separation of the power o the complications, from the power that indicates the time. In the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre the watch applies their Dual-Wing concept to simply separate the two as a means of improving accuracy over time. The result is astounding accuracy.
Perhaps the best feature of the design is the dial and the layout. Symmetrical, with different coloured hands for the time and chronograph indication with two larger sundials also on the face. Essentially conservative in design (as one would expect from a luxury timepiece) the use of excellent materials and finish makes the Duometre a highly refined watch.
From £24,950 and available from Jaeger-LeCoultre at Watchfinder.
