In 2004 no-one had heard of Hublot. In the years since the brand has become huge, largely due to one watch, which in itself has become a modern classic.
The Classic Fusion from Hublot is a classic watch based on the Big Bang design. Aesthetically modern, its deign is much more aggressive than many other classic watches which only helped it stand apart from competitors. Boasting a thin profile and simplified dial with strong hands and hour markers. The luxury case comes in either steel or red goal and the bezel is in ceramic with a brushed tip and polished sides on age carbon fibre design, whilst the matte deal models have matching gold or steel bezels.
Also available with rubber straps, the Classic Fusion is available in 44mm and 42mm models. The thin design makes them modern and comfortable, as well as easy to adjust which comes in handy when changing straps.
So what is it that makes that watch such a modern classic? Well it is hard and masculine whilst also being subtle and elegant. In a world dominated by old world elegance, Hublot have sought to create modern sophistication incorporating modern materials like ceramic and titanium as well as traditional metals like gold and steel, producing a timepiece that is both avant-garde and inherently classical.
From £8,750 and available from Hublot at Watchfinder.
