London-based contemporary men’s tailoring brand Heron’s Ghyll has just launched its spring summer 2024 collection which pays homage to the tradition of Chinoiserie in English aesthetics.

Highlights of the collection include a classic woollen English suit with sharp, roped shoulders which is reimagined with a Mandarin collar and a Tang-inspired silhouette. Gold, a colour symbolizing auspiciousness in Chinese culture, takes center stage in decorative accents and languid bamboo suits. Meanwhile, a stand-collar jacket boasts full sleeves reminiscent of the roomy sleeves on a paofu.
