Hermès Arceau Lift Repetition Minutes

Hermès has just released details of its stunning new timepiece, the Arceau Lift Repetition Minutes. 

Available in rose gold with a white lacquered dial or white gold with a blue lacquered dial, the new watches are one-of-a-kind pieces.  A horse-shaped cut-out on the dial reveals the Hermès tourbillon and minute-repeater movement and the double-gong minute repeater mechanism is coupled with a flying tourbillon – coiled inside the horse’s neck and visible through an aperture at 6 o’clock.

Forming a double H, the architecture of the tourbillon is inspired by the Hermès boutique on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. The design crowning the tourbillon carriage and barrel bridge picks up the pattern of the artistic wrought ironwork adorning the entrance, railings, staircase and lift at the iconic Parisian establishment.
