FORM/ UNLOCKED - exhibition by Hywel Pratley Sculpture at 54 The Galley

As a long-time admirer of his work, it was a real privilege to meet the man behind some of the most stunning sculpture work that is being created in the UK today. Hywel Pratley has returned to Mayfair this week, as the host of his FORM/ UNLOCKED exhibition which displays new pieces alongside established works of figurative and portrait sculpture in bronze, plaster and jesmonite.

Not only is the exhibition a chance to see and purchase the works, it is also an opportunity to learn from the man himself about the technique, process and inspiration that led to their creation as well as a chance to see the pairing of a selection of the pieces with 2 dimensional responses in pencil and oil paint from Per Elof Nilsson Ricklund, Stephen Bauman, Miqui Troncoso, and Curtis Holder suggesting a conversation between artists inspired by Pratley's sculptures themselves.

All sculptures are available for sale and offered in limited editions of nine.
