This spring, the V&A houses a new exhibit that presents a unique journey through the design stories of the world’s greatest ocean liners. 

Including majestic ocean-liners like the Queen Mary, Titanic, Normandie and Canberra, these impressive vessels were instrumental in shaping the modern world. Of course, they were also the only way to travel if you were young and beautiful, boasting superb style, unparalleled speed for the times and the highest standards of service.

The exhibit features a handful of costumes from the day, from swimwear to evening dress, iconic posters documenting the history of ocean liner travel as well as all of the technical instruments that moved those lucky few from A to B.
