dunhill Tailors the Spy Look for Soderbergh’s Black Bag

Savile Row precision meets Hollywood espionage as dunhill takes centre stage in the wardrobe department of Steven Soderbergh’s latest thriller, Black Bag. The British menswear house has crafted key looks for Michael Fassbender, Tom Burke, Regé-Jean Page, and Pierce Brosnan, ensuring the film’s spies and power players are impeccably dressed.

With Creative Director Simon Holloway at the helm, dunhill worked in close collaboration with acclaimed costume designer Ellen Mirojnick (Oppenheimer, The Greatest Showman) to develop a wardrobe that exudes quiet authority and effortless sophistication. The result? A seamless fusion of cinematic storytelling and sartorial precision.

Leveraging its renowned Custom expertise, dunhill’s Made-to-Measure service was called upon to produce an array of meticulously tailored jackets, razor-sharp shirting, refined knitwear, and perfectly cut trousers. Classic haberdashery pieces—including hand-printed silk ties and pocket squares—add the finishing touches, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and elegance.

This isn’t dunhill’s first foray into film. The house has long embraced a connection with cinema, most recently through its partnership with BAFTA to support emerging talent. Now, with Black Bag, dunhill further cements its position as the go-to for on-screen sartorial excellence. And if this is just the first of several upcoming collaborations, expect more sharply dressed leading men gracing the silver screen soon.

Black Bag hits UK cinemas on 14th March.
