With its autumn 2020 collection, Diesel has continued in its recent focus on responsible fashion with a new “For Sustainable Living” slogan.

Launched first in January this year, the slogan is more than that, and a commitment to taking action for the benefit of current and future generations, and ensuring Diesel’s continuing success in a changing world.

For the current season, the “Respectful Denim with DIESEL DNA” features 5 denim models produced with DIESEL’s high-level environmental standards embedded in our Green Label. The aesthetic is similar to what our customers are used to; the jeans are a classic, iconic Premium DIESEL silhouette in vintage washes, some with laser-etched scratches and abrasions. These garments have been created using innovative techniques that significantly reduce the use of water and chemicals during the production process. Every pair is treated with a minimal amount of GreenScreen certified chemicals, and the water used is reduced by up to 40% compared to conventional methods. But now, more responsible practices have been applied to further product categories, including short and long-sleeved t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. Made from a hybrid textile of organic cotton and recycled polyester, the recycled fibers come from post- and pre-consumer waste—think used plastic bottles and factory waste.
