Burlington Arcade x Four Seasons Park Lane Afternoon Tea
In aid of Afternoon Tea Week (yes that’s a thing), Burlington Arcade and Four Seasons have joined forces to launch an exclusive afternoon tea inspired by the 200 years of the iconic arcade.
Working with Head Pastry Chef, David Oliver, Burlington Arcade has created five bespoke cakes inspired by its architecture, British charm, and uniqueness. In addition to the five cakes, the afternoon team will also included a range of cakes and scones, inspired by British History. We can think of much, much worse ways to spend an afternoon. The innovative Afternoon Tea pastries include The Burlington Beadle (a light blueberry cheesecake made with vanilla, sable Breton and blueberry compote), The Velvet Hat, a delicious white chocolate covered Joconde sponge, raspberry jam and rich vanilla mascarpone cream, the Joss Flower, a layered peach and jasmine jelly, the Battenberg and The Gold Nugget, a superb 24ct gold covered nugget with passion fruit and angostura bitter caramel.Working with some of the UK’s finest home-grown producers and suppliers, the Burlington Afternoon Tea also includes classic British sandwiches in 5 varieties.
The Burlington Afternoon Tea is available at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane until the 31st December 2019 priced £46 per person and £55 to be served with a glass of champagne. To book, please contact Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane.
