Way back in 1953, Breitling launched the Ref. 765 AVI watch; a pilot’s watch that became known as the co-pilot with AVI referring to the brand’s strong aviation links. Known for its bold appearance, it has a rotating bezel and oversized Arabic numerals, making it more legible than many other watches available at the time, and therefore a favourite among pilots.
