A. Lange & Söhne celebrate 30th Anniversary of Lange 1 with four new watches

A. Lange & Söhne marks the 30th anniversary of its iconic LANGE 1 by releasing four exclusive new timepieces, reflecting the brand’s commitment to precision, elegance, and innovation. Introduced in 1994, the LANGE 1 broke traditional design norms with its off-centre dial and oversized date display, a look that remains captivating three decades later.

To celebrate, the brand unveils two new versions of the LANGE 1 and LITTLE LANGE 1. The first features a 950 platinum case with a striking black onyx dial, a gemstone rarely used in fine watchmaking. The second is a pink gold model with a rich blue silver dial. Each LANGE 1 edition is limited to 300 pieces, while the LITTLE LANGE 1 models are capped at 150.

At the heart of these timepieces is the L121.1 manufacture calibre, renowned for its precision and 72-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through a sapphire caseback, revealing traditional artisanal finishes such as the Glashütte ribbing and hand-engraved balance cock.

These anniversary pieces celebrate not only the LANGE 1’s heritage but also A. Lange & Söhne’s forward-thinking approach to craftsmanship. As CEO Wilhelm Schmid states, the LANGE 1 embodies the brand’s philosophy to "never stand still," ensuring its legacy remains timeless.
